19th century Scottish highland cow painting by George W Horlor

An original George William Horlor (British, 1829-1895) pastoral scene oil painting on canvas with cattle. Signed and dated 1892 in the lower right corner. 

George W. Horlor was an animal and sporting painter specializing in shooting scenes, and animals in the highlands. He worked in Cheltenham, Birmingham and Brentford and exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy (London) between 1849 and 1890.

Overall really nice antique condition with a little bit of rubbing along the frame. Painting was restored at one point and reframed in a newer frame.
