Artist Biography: Camille Kufferath (1881–1955) was a Belgian painter and composer born in Brussels into a prominent musical family. Working in oils and pastels, he produced landscapes, coastal views, portraits and genre scenes and is associated with the Post-Impressionist tradition. In addition to his career as a painter, Kufferath composed operas and ballets.
